City safety is a new and modern right to citizenship realised through a complex combination of activities aimed to improve the quality of the citizens’ lives.

Combined to work together, each with its part and in great synergy, National Government, Regions, Provinces, and Municipalities, but also social powers, associations, third sector and social cooperation.

Regione Campania, with its own activity, works for the safety issue in its general policy, realising actions aimed to:

-         Promote and spread a new safety culture, careful of issues about the quality of life and the making of more liveable territories;

-         Increase the perception of safety in citizens and community;

-         Qualify the Local Police’s action;

-         Making youth aware of the culture of legality.

The competence activities are realised through the Sector “Relationships with Local Autonomies”, which, as for safety, is composed of three services: “Urban safety and Local Police”, “Support to Local Authorities for integrated urban safety projects”, “Local Police Administrative Coordination, Confiscated Property and Actions in favour of victims”, and the Sector “Regional School of Local Police”.
