Nowadays Civilian Service is ever expanding and spread all over Campania. Just think that it is the second region in Italy for number of volunteers involved and that the active Bodies of Civilian Service in the five Provinces included in the Regional Register are more than 300.

Managing and regulating the administrative decentralization process launched on 1 January 2006 through the entry into force of all the articles of the Legislative Decree no. 77 was not easy at all, but it allowed us to start that work and commitment road that to date is giving outstanding results and that pushes us to go even further.

The action of Regione to support the development of Civilian Service in Campania constantly aims at enhancing the “quality” of the projects, particularly focusing on the training both of volunteers and of those people in charge of its management.

Policies and commitments taken on for 2008 aims at making Civilian Service a sound organization for the whole Region, both as for human growth and for youth training, and for enhancement of services in those sectors established by the Law no. 64/01.
