Natural Shopping Centres, Ok to Procedural Guideline

With the conjunct resolution of the Regional Administration for the Productive Activities and the Regional Administration for Employment and Training, the procedural guideline for natural shopping centres in Campania has been approved. Among the main features: thematic or territorial integration and an organisation that would take into account a local system of integrated productive, commercial and touristic offer.

It has been decided that, to receive the CCN (Natural Shopping Centre) status, it is necessary to establish a network of no less than 25 units for the thematic one, 60 units for chief towns of provinces, and 40 units for all the other municipalities, and that they can be the beneficiaries of grants and interventions for vocational training and educational traineeships.

“With the procedural guideline’s approval – declared the Regional Minister for Productive Activities, Fulvio Martusciello – we are entering the realisation phase of the measure, in issuing two public notices, and using resources of the Ministry for Economic Development equal to 5 million Euros. In this way we aim to reinforce integration among neighbourhood businesses, medium sale organisations, medium artisan and touristic businesses, thus contributing to the protection and revitalisation of urban areas”.

For the Regional Minister for Employment, Severino Nappi, “the Regional Executive Board led by Caldoro gives a further actual demonstration that it aims at supporting the only productive fabric of this region, which is mainly made of small and very small enterprises, and of people who every day open their shutters and give their contribution to the economy and occupation of Campania. With this resolution, outcome of the synergic work of Executive Board and Council, we reward our enterprises’ capacities to become network and system”.
