Parthenope University, Student Accommodation Opened
Governor Caldoro inaugurated the new student accommodation of the Parthenope University of Naples. Vice President of Regione Campania responsible for University, Guido Trombetti, regional Minister for Culture, Caterina Miraglia and Municipal Councillor responsible for youth Alessandra Clemente were at the ceremony that took place at the former Manifattura Tabacchi plant.
The former Manifattura Tabacchi plant thus becomes a student accommodation of the Parthenope. The initiative has been supported by the Parthenope University, led by Dean Claudio Quintano together with Adisu Parthenope, chaired by Maurizio Zuccaro.
In President Caldoro’s opinion: "Students need this kind of facilities and services, we envisaged investments for the right to education and resources dedicated with equipped premises. A concrete reply for our university students".
The accommodation is located near the central train station in a town redevelopment area with a capacity of 180 people from all departments, and the possibility to put up 8 people who have motor impairments.
University students have a right to several services, such as canteen, Internet connection , newspaper library, reimbursement of public health medical fees, accident insurance, reimbursement of city temporary resident tax, if existing, shuttle service to the city centre, cleaning, coin laundry and parking.
