Regional Minister for Agriculture Daniela Nugnes welcomed at the regional Administration premises a delegation of Romanian Ministry for Agriculture led by Carmen Mihaela Boteanu, deputy general director of the Managing Authority of the Rumanian Rural Development Programme.

During the meeting, a comparison on the expenditure progress reporting of the Campania Rural Development Plan, new planning for the period 2014-2020 and innovation processes in the agricultural sector have been debated. The delegation also visited some regional companies after the meeting.

The delegation chose Campania as benchmark in order to get in-depth assessment of the management of European Funds and as the only stop of this visit. Hence, our best practices and Campania excellence products can be an example for the rest of Europe – Ms. Nugnes stated.

She concluded: “It was a fruitful meeting and we laid down foundations for a future work. I wish this brings a concrete cooperation”.
