The Campania Regional Executive Board approved the resolution for the training and information programme of the Rural Development Plan. Approximately 10 thousand million Euros of the Rural Development Fund of Campania for the period 2007-2013 will be allocated for the implementation of vocational training actions both in the competitiveness field, as provided for by Measure 111, and aiming at diversification of activities for those professional farmers who work in our region’s rural areas, as provided for by Measure 331.

Daniela Nugnes, regional Minister for Agriculture stated: “Training is more and more a top priority for the Regional Administration for Agriculture”.

The vocational training actions will be partially carried out by technical structures of the regional Ministry for Agriculture and partially by external professional training organizations that will be contracted following an open call for tender - she concluded.
