Social Policy, Campania Rejected National Fund
Split between the Government and the Regions. The division of the Social Policy National Funds has been rejected from Campania, as well as from the whole Country. This is the outcome of the meeting of the Social Policy Committee of the Conference of Regions gathered today in Rome.
“Only 43 million € for the whole country in 2012 and just one million for Campania sound like an insult to vulnerable groups”.
This is the terse statement that the Regional Minister addressed to President Errani in order to ask him to take action on social emergencies that risk of causing terrible damages on our country, especially in the South. He continued: “It is necessary that the President starts a dialogue with the Government, otherwise Regions will be left aside in the match for welfare services”. An unbearable situation, thus, that will cause further cuts to the sector.
