Unico Campania Single Ticket

On 25 of September 2000, Regione Campania, Province and Municipality of Naples together with the member transport companies of the Napolipass Consortium (Anm, Circumvesuviana, Ctp, Metronapoli, Sepsa and Trenitalia) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of “Unico”, the ticket that allows all travellers coming from the neighbouring Municipalities to get to Naples, and vice versa, and moving throughout the city using all transport systems.

At last, from 1 January 2003, UNICOCAMPANIA was extended to all 551 Municipalities of the five provinces of Campania. The Napolipass Consortium, that became UNICOCAMPANIA, now involves all the 13 companies of the regional public transport: a full unification that is unrivalled in Italy, for a potential catchment area of almost six million inhabitants, and a system able to provide 1500 trains and 27500 bus rides daily to carry more than 1 million and 700 thousand travellers.
