Universal Children’s Day, Regional Minister Russo. 2012 World Forum for Child Welfare on the Way
Regional Minister for Social Care of Campania Ermanno Russo stated: “The 2012 World Forum for Child Welfare, back to Italy after missing for 21 years, will take place in Campania in a week. That will be the occasion to gather all celebrations that are being held today all over the world on the occasion of the Universal Children’s Day. From 26 November, top experts and scholars of phenomena related to childhood and protection of children will meet at the Stazione Marittima of Naples to debate about children’s welfare among global outlooks, migration and active citizenship”.
He added: “This is a unique opportunity for our region and for our country. Delegates from 27 Nations of the world (from Australia to USA, from South Africa to Indonesia) will be in Naples to debate about social development, based on childhood, family and education.
Regional Minister Russo concluded: “The World Forum for Child Welfare will be an enlarged workplace, where experiences coming from all over the world will blend to generate a plan platform that will be the ground to make welfare Italian policy more effective and innovative. Regione immediately chose to support the organisers, namely Mentoring Usa/Italia Onlus and the Foundation “L’Albero della Vita”, in order to make the final remarks of the experts really affect positively future policies for children and young people of Campania”.
