Environment: "Reclamation is a Priority for Regione" Caldoro Says

"The protection of citizens’ health is a top priority for Regione Campania” said President of the Regional Executive Board Stefano Caldoro in Giugliano at the beginning of procedures to extinguish fumes at the Resit landfill site where for many years industrial wastes, some of them even highly toxic, coming from Italy and abroad, have been disposed illegally. “We have to protect environment and to recover these sites” continued the President recalling that “environment is at the top of the investment list of Regione”. Campania Regional Minister for the Environment Giovanni Romano and Government Commissioner for reclamation of Giugliano, Mario De Biase took part in the presentation of the final project for the Resit site clean up.
