Networks of Excellence, Three Scholarships Available

The Ansaldo STS called an open competition for the awarding of three scholarships. The business joined the partnership for the implementation of "Embedded Systems in Critical Domains" project, funded by Regione Campania under the Campania ESF Regional Operational Programme for the period 2007-2013, Axes IV and V – Open Announcement for "Development of Networks of Excellence among Universities – Research Centres - Businesses".

The three scholarships focus on research activities to carry out at the Ansaldo STS in the following fields:

Embedded safety critical system for monitoring of train speed and distance ERTMS/ETCS
Rail embedded system for safety related images
Embedded device-based systems for safe display

Duration

Each programme will last 12 months.

Requirements
All Italian and foreign citizens, with no limit concerning age and nationality, who are first job seekers or unemployed, born and/or resident in the Campania region with at least one among the following degrees: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Automation Engineering.

Amount
The total annual gross amount for each scholarship is € 21,378.98.

Eligible candidates will sit for an oral interview.
