Meeting of Provinces of the South, Caldoro: “First, Reform of the Regions’”

The meeting of the Provinces of the South has taken place in the Cloister of Santa Maria La Nova in Naples. On the agenda, the “Provisions for Metropolitan cities, provinces, unions and mergers of Municipalities” bill enacted by Government.

President of Regione Campania Stefano Caldoro attended the meeting and opened a wider debate and reflection on the importance of reforms in our country.

The Governor pointed out: “We need to be brave reformers. We are experiencing a moment when reforms are pivotal and there could be no second half. I made my own proposal to dissolute regions and re-organise them. Once more, Regions must have planning tasks, without heavy budgets. Then, let’s solve the Municipalities and Provinces issues, but only after having disentangled this situation first.
