Regione Campania, Caldoro: “We Back Businesses, Research and Innovation”

The closure of the ring of the Underground Line 1, Campania system of districts, Jeremie funds to back SMEs, SMAU Trade Exhibition at the Mostra d’Oltremare, protest of forestry workers: these were the main topics of the statements made by President of Regione Campania Stefano Caldoro in Palazzo Santa Lucia.

Mr Caldoro pointed out: "We have closed the ring of the Underground of Naples. Today, the last action to close the ring of Line 1 Centro direzionale - Capodichino - Di Vittorio, that will allow the connection with Piscinola, too”.

The work envisages a total investment of over 600 million, of which 300 from Regione Campania, 113 from the National Government and approximately 180 from the Municipality of Naples.

Caldoro also spoke about Jeremie funds for SMEs. The Governor emphasised: “Regione is doing all its best to support producers, for all issues falling within its own authority. In such a difficult moment, we ensure a concrete support through our action. The access to credit is fresh air for businesses”.

Among the topics, innovation and research thanks to SMAU of Naples. The President pointed out: “Over these years and for the next ones, expenditure for research and innovation is above the national average, for sure the highest in the South”.

Finally, President Caldoro spoke about the good results obtained from the German analysis on the very high quality of the DOP Campania buffalo mozzarella; he also made some statements about the forestry workers protests.
