Shown below is the declaration of the President of Regione Campania, Stefano Caldoro, about the approval by the Chamber of Deputies of the text for the conversion of the decree-law 35, 2013.
“A measure with the right aims, but not sufficient as for matter and choices – Caldoro declared – It was necessary to act as in Spain, with a single national payment central office. The text does not take into account the inequalities existing in the country, and might end up fostering the differences among the various areas. As we have seen – the President added – many regions have not applied, as they do not have significant delays in payments. We have not avoided, responsibly, the agreement at the Sate-Regions conference on the vertical pact, because we intend to give firms concrete and prompt answers. We will do our part completely, in order to overcome the problem of the delays in the payments of the Public Administration – Caldoro concluded – but the text approved does not solve the problem, does not heal the illness and many Authorities will have to become heavily indebted”. “The measure, as it has been dismissed by the Chamber, is critical for Campania because it contrasts with the recovery action already undertaken with the recouping plans for public health and transports.
