In agreement with the Regional Minister of Culture Caterina Miraglia the triennial programme 2013-2015 for entertainment investment and promotion has been adopted.
The plan, implementing Regional Law 6 of 2007, finances actions to support cinema, restorations, adaptations and realisations of buildings and equipment destined to entertainment activities, music promotion, dance, travelling shows, for multidisciplinary residences and recreational activities.
The programme will be transmitted to the Regional Council for receiving the opinion of the Council’s Commission in charge.
The Regional Triennial Programme of Investment and Promotion of entertainment defines priorities, objectives, modalities of realisation among different kinds of actions, criteria for verifying the realisation of activities subject to agreements and pacts, and identifies the amount of available resources to allocate to the objectives and activities of the measures provided for by the programme.
With the Regional Law n. 6 of 15.06.2007 “Regulation of the regional actions of entertainment promotion”, Regione Campania acknowledges every form of entertainment as a fundamental aspect of the regional culture, as a means of artistic expression, education, cultural promotion, social activities and economic development, guaranteeing autonomy in artistic planning and freedom of enterprise.
Regione Campania adopts triennial programmes of investment and promotion, aimed at achieving the goals and activities specifically indicated in the text of the law (measures for multidisciplinary residences, measures supporting cinema businesses, measure supporting special projects, restoration interventions, adaptations and realisations of buildings and equipment destined to show businesses, measures for staging equipped areas for travelling shows, measures for activities encouraging and promoting music, measures favouring highly professional continuing training for dance, as well as measures favouring amateur entertainment).
