Hospital Care

The relevant Regional Sector organises regional hospital care, particularly as for the emergency system (118), and it streamlines the regional planning for transplants, transfusions and the so-called “blood plan”.

It aims at the enhancement of treatment quality, through tools such as the clinical risk management, prevention and control of the hospital infections, healthcare information systems. It participates in the planning actions established by the re-payment plan, such as the monitoring of the gestation and birth process and the reduction of caesarean cuts in Campania.

Service of Control of the General Emergency Network;

Service for Transplants and Transfusion Centres;

Service of Surveillance of Multi-specialty Departments.

The Head of the Sector is Renato Pizzuti.
