Healthcare, Guaranteeing Training of Young MDs

Regione Campania is working to find possible roads to avoid delays in training of young MDs. After the cut of fellowships for medical specialisations, it is working to find economic resources.

President’s Advisor for issues concerning healthcare Raffaele Calabrò stated: “The latest gift inherited by the previous Government is another slap in the face for the National Healthcare System. The resolution and commitment of young MDs need to be more and more promoted, since they are training themselves in the midst of difficulties, due to lack of personnel”. Mr Calabrò concluded: “In spite of the big troubles in finding economic resources, Campania committed itself to find better solutions to avoid serious delays and to continue on training skilled medical staff”.
