Exceptional Redundancy Fund, 6 Million for 1500 Additional Workers

The Regional Administration for Labour autorised more fundings for a total amount of over 6 million € for the exceptional redundancy fund for approximately 1500 additional workers.

In details, the exceptional fund is divided as follows:

• Avellino: 96 workers for 2 businesses
• Benevento: 77 workers for 12 businesses
• Caserta: 372 workers for 15 businesses
• Naples: 390 workers for 32 businesses
• Salerno: 541 workers for 48 businesses

Regional Minister for Labour of Regione Campania Severino Nappi pointed out: “Our committment to support workers who are victims of the crisis goes on”.

Mr Nappi concluded: “Over the next weeks, we will focus on the new rules that the Ministry of Labour will implement for those workers who have more disadvantages. Campania, once more, will be at the forefront to raise the voice of those who need it the most and to those who, being older, have more difficulties in re-inclusion and re-placement”.
