Job Learning, First edition about to start

Job Learning, First edition about to start

Today the Regional Minister for Employment and Training, Severino Nappi, and the President Caldoro’s Councillor for Productive Activities and Economic Development, Fulvio Martusciello, have presented the first edition of the project Job Learning at the “sala giunta”.

Attending the meeting, the president of Unionecamere Campania Maurizio Maddaloni, the president of Campania Innovazione Giuseppe Zollo, the regional school manager Diego Bouchè and the steering committee of Arlas.

Job Learning is promoted by Unionecamere Campania and Regione Campania, with the technical partnership of Campania Innovazione-Regional Agency for the Promotion of Research and Innovation.

The aim of the projects is to let high school and university students of all provinces of Naples and Caserta live the job world within its productive reality.

Companies and professionals will receive the students in their workplaces (firms, tribunals, hospitals, workshops, professional offices, newsrooms and other) in an informal atmosphere, for a certain amount of hours or days. In the first part of the experience, students will be able to listen to the “story” of a profession and recognise the specific activities and the personal inclinations that favour its success. In the second part, students will attend to everyday work and, where possible, they will be practically involved through a rigorous process of practical experience.

The project, thanks to the impulse of Regione and Unioncamere, also intends to experiment a specific action in the Naples North periphery, in order to favour the success of school experiences also in areas that are socially and culturally decayed, such as in Scampia.

Job Learning will get under way in October 2013.
