On Monday 4 March, for implementation of the instruments planned with the Action Plan “Campania al lavoro”, “Più sicurezza”, the measure by which the Regional Administration for Employment and Training allocates 2 million Euros to firms, to be invested in occupational safety, risk prevention and most of all in on-going training of employees and employers will be published on the Official Journal of Regione Campania.
Each project can receive funding for a maximum of 140 thousand Euros. The action is mainly destined to small and medium-sized firms operating in high risk sectors, willing to work as a network. The measure also rewards investments in technological innovation, in training, in risk prevention at workplaces, and in the adoption of more modern models of job organisation, also in IT.
“For the first time – the Regional Minister for Employment, Severino Nappi explained – Regione Campania faces the occupational safety issue going beyond the mere informational campaigns, but entering into its merits and investing. Supporting businesses that aim at safety is a way to reward a regular, good business, which opposes undeclared work, tax evasion and lack of rules. Aiming at small and medium-sized firms is a way to reward the productive texture of Campania, which is composed of this kind of firms. Favouring the networking among firms is a way to strengthen our territories, in helping our firms to be more competitive. Incentivising innovation, also in safety and prevention, is a way to modernise Campania’s businesses. The policy of competence, of the quality of the proposals and of the attention to whom works and operates in our community, still represent a peculiarity of the Executive Board led by Caldoro”.
