Round Table on Torre Crisis Area

“With this morning’s meeting – which, in agreement with the Councillors Martusciello and Sentiero, we decided to carry out in Torre Annunziata – we confirm our strong will to engage the more and more in supporting the single territories with their peculiarities. Besides, we continue the constant dialogue with social parties in public debates, openly and believing in negotiation and transparency, values used in every decision”.

This is how the Regional Minister for Employment and Training, Severino Nappi, commented at the end of the round table on Torre Crisis Area carried out today at the Municipality of Torre Annunziata.

“In a difficult area as is Torre Annunziata, which has witnessed too many oppressions over the years and which is at high risk of racketeering, our duty is to sustain local administrations, foster local productions, often made of small and medium-sized firms, and engage as much as we can in protecting the occupational levels of the numerous firms in crisis, and plan future development opportunities. Together with the measures already considered by the Action and Cohesion Plan, we have reaffirmed our availability to make more resources of the Action Plan “Campania al Lavoro!” immediately accessible; after further analysis with employers associations, they will be available to Torre’s community”.
