SMA, Meeting between Fitto and Caldoro

A meeting between Minister for Relations with the Regions Raffaele Fitto and President of Regione Campania Stefano Caldoro took place in Rome.

The meeting focused on the availability for the use of funds of cost savings, which are currently being carefully assessed by the Government after the CIPE (Interministerial Committee for the Economic Planning) resolution about funds addressing the South, and particularly the SMA (Fire fighting Association) Convention that envisaged a financial coverage for the first three years only and not for the following two.

They debated about the resources to use to cover the remaining activities.

Next week a meeting among the Ministry for the Relations with the Regions and for the Territorial Cohesion, the Ministry of Employment and Regione Campania Authority will take place.

In the meantime, offices are working to prepare the preliminary detailed activities that will involve social parties too.
