Clean Sea, in Campania 13 Blue Flags

Campania confirms its 13 Blue Flags. Thus, the quality of the sea water is confirmed once more to be excellent in 13 regional coastal Municipalities. The credit for this success belongs to the Municipalities that were able to perfectly comply with the rules to achieve such a significant acknowledgement of “Blue Flag” of the Foundation for the Environmental Education (Fee).

10 of the Municipalities that obtained the blue flags are in the Cilento area. Two are in the Province of Naples and one is in the Amalfi Coast area.

Particularly, the locations with the blue flags are: Agropoli, Castellabate, Montecorice-Agnone and Capitello, Pollica-Acciaroli-Pioppi, Casalvelino, Ascea, Pisciotta, Centola-Palinuro, Vibonati-Villammare, Sapri, Massalubrense, Anacapri-Punta Faro and Gradola, Positano.

President of Regione Campania Stefano Caldoro emphasised: “The confirmation of 13 blue flags is an award for the efforts we have been making together with local institutions to better protect our seas. The hard work to promote our environmental assets goes on”.
