Tourism, Positive Figures for Campania Visits

Regional Minister for Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Regione Campania Pasquale Sommese commented on the positive trend, recently recorded in Naples and Campania: “The positive figures of the visits to Campania for Easter confirm the optimism reported during the exhibitions in London, Milan, Rimini and Los Angeles. We are on the right track. Now, everybody should do their share to strengthen this success”.  

The Regional Minister pointed out: “ We turned the page. Regione became a planning authority. And now, it is up to the others to fulfill their job, working in synergy with us to achieve a sector network”.

“We involved a useful planning activities for all the areas and kinds of tourism, through the programme of events, that already required 8 million expenses, and will take 16 more from June till the end of the year, and the Grand Tour. Now, local authorities should work to offer welcoming, clean and safe cities; provincial boards and businesses should supply an information and support network for all visitors; associations of hotels should offer attractive and competitive packages”. He concluded: “This is how we will put our landscape, archaeological, cultural and historical extraordinary beauties back at the core of the national and international quality tourism demand”.
