CamBack: Against Brain Drain from Campania

CamBack: Against Brain Drain from Campania

If you are a young talented young boy or girl who works abroad and has decided to come back, you can join “CAM BACK – Talenti Campani A/R”, the cognitive survey on the migration phenomenon and on the remedies that are necessary to avoid brain drain.

The project, which realises itself in the circulation of questionnaires destined to students and employees from Campania who have left their country, aims at the individuation of strategic actions at regional and national level, in order to facilitate the talents’ return. Every year, according to the Migrantes report, about five thousand people leave Campania. For the most part they are professionals, usually just graduated or in any case aged between 25 and 35.

“The cultural identity of a region must not be dispersed, but on the contrary highlighted and enhanced. This is an added value that can make the difference” – underlines Fulvio Martusciello, councillor of the president Caldoro for the Productive Activities and Economic Development. Specialising and having work experiences abroad is fundamental. After that, however, it is also important to go back to one’s country to make innovations in it. “For this reason – Martusciello sustains again – we are moving toward a regional law fostering the return of Campania talents”.

CAM BACK is promoted by Regione Campania through Campania Innovazione, the Regional Agency for the promotion of Research and Innovation, and in cooperation with authorities, firms, universities, associations and single individuals.

If you wish to participate, please fill in the questionnaire available on www.agenziacampaniainnovazione.it.
