Regione Campania launches “CAM BACK – Talenti Campani A/R”, a cognitive survey on the migration phenomenon related to young people from Campania who leave the region in search of education and job opportunities.
The project, promoted by Regione Campania through Campania Innovazione, the Regional Agency for the promotion of Research and Innovation, and in cooperation with authorities, firms, universities, associations and single individuals, starts am active and advisory process dedicated to the comprehension of the phenomenon, with the aim of defining strategic actions for regional and national policies that encourage the return of talents presently discouraged by difficult socio-economical conditions.
Kindly invited to participate in the survey students and workers who are currently abroad, but also those who have decided to come back.
If you want to participate you just have to fill in one of the two questionnaires online (for those who study and work abroad or for those who came back) available at www.agenziacampaniainnovazione.it.
Every year, according to the Migrantes report, about five thousand people leave Campania. For the most part they are professionals, usually just graduated or in any case aged between 25 and 35.
“The cultural identity of a region must not be dispersed, but on the contrary highlighted and enhanced. This is an added value that can make the difference” – underlines Fulvio Martusciello, councillor of the president Caldoro for the Productive Activities and Economic Development. Specialising and having work experiences abroad is fundamental. After that, however, it is also important to go back to one’s country to make innovations in it”.
“We are moving toward a regional law fostering the return of Campania talents to our region and discouraging them to leave it, through an innovation process that makes youth protagonist”, Martusciello concludes.
