The “Social World Film Festival” is back in Vico Equense

The “Social World Film Festival” is back again in Vico Equense (Sorrento Coast, Naples) from 6 to 13 May, the film festival entirely dedicated to social films.

The “Social World Film Festival”, presided over by the artistic director Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo, is realised with the acceptance of the President of the Italian Republic, in co-participation with the Prime Minister’s Office – Youth Department, with the Senate and Chamber of Deputies Medals, the contribution of the Youth Policies Sector of Regione Campania, of the Youth Forum of Campania and of the Municipality of Vico Equense, and with the cooperation of the Naples Film School.

Great names on the Red Carpet of this second edition: Alessandro Siani, Elena Sofia Ricci, Massimiliano Gallo, Lorenzo Flaherty, Nicoletta Romanoff, Gianfelice Imparato, Ernesto Mahieux, Dajana Roncione, Irene Ferri, Danilo Brugia, Franco Oppini, Edoardo Velo, Marcelo Fuentes. Gian Marco Tognazzi, Giorgio Colangeli and Federico Mazzoli will be contending for the “World Social Award for best actor”, while the Franco-Iranian Sarah Kazemy is among the candidates for the “best actress” category. The gala will take place on Saturday 12 May, and will be hosted by the official speaker of San Paolo Stadium, Daniele "Decibel" Bellini.
