The Regional Council

The Regional Council possesses legislative and regulation powers given or delegated by the Regione; it sets the political and administrative orientation of the Regione: it performs the functions given by the Constitution, the Statute, Laws and Regulations (art.19 Title IV of the Regional Statute). The Regional Council of Campania established eight standing committees for the preliminary drafting activity of laws and measures. Furthermore, the Council set up four special committees with management, steering and supervision functions. The President of the Regional Council is Paolo Romano and it is composed of 61 members.

The Regional Council offices are located in Naples, at the Centro Direzionale, Isola F13.
