Awarding of 6 Scholarships for Research Activities

The open competition for the awarding of 6 scholarshipsis announced by the company Ansaldo STS, which has joined the partnership for the realisation of the project "Embedded Systems in Critical Domains" signed by the various promoters representing Universities, Research centres and firms.

The scholarships refer to research activities at Ansaldo STS (branch office in Via Argine 425 – 80147 Napoli) in the fields: IT, Industrial engineering, Computer engineering, Telecommunication engineering, Electronic engineering, Automation engineering. The research topics are:

1. Development of embedded systems for the use of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technology in the railway sector.
2. Simulation tools supporting the testing of embedded systems
3. Identification of innovative techniques for the testing of HW/SW integration for embedded systems
4. Testing of embedded systems for the use of GNSS technology in the railway sector
5. Transformation of models from different application domains (UML) for the representation of Critical Domain models and programming, implementation, development and testing of software for embedded systems
6. Testing of embedded systems, for the diagnostic monitoring in the railway sector, based on innovative measuring instruments

Duration:
Each scholarship will last 12 months and is renewable for a maximum of further 12 months, in case of extension of Regione Campania and interest of Ansaldo STS.

Grant:
The total gross annual amount of each scholarship is 21.378,98 Euros.

Requisites:
With no age and citizenship restriction, participants can be Italian or foreign citizens, unemployed, born and/or resident in Campania, with at least one of the following degrees: 3-year or 5-year degree in IT, Industrial engineering, Computer engineering, Telecommunication engineering, Electronic engineering, Automation engineering
