Culture and Tourism, Ischia Global Fest About to Start

From 13 to 21 July ten days of cinema and show celebration. It’s the Ischia Global Film and Music Fest, a major event of Campania summer presented during a press conference held at the Sala Giunta of Regione Campania Offices.

Regional Minister for Tourism and Cultural Heritage Pasquale Sommese, Regional Minister for Culture Caterina Miraglia, Chairwoman of R.F.Kennedy Foundation of Europe Kerry Kennedy, award-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis, actor Franco Nero and founder of Ischia Global Fest Pascal Vicedomini attended the conference.

President of Regione Campania Stefano Caldoro and Kerry Kennedy exchanged greetings and gifts.

The opening is scheduled on Saturday, 13 July, with a tribute to human rights. A reading of some excerpts from the thoughts of Bobby Kennedy by Kerry Kennedy and Mimmo Calopresti will follow. International premiere and unprecedented music duets will take place. The 50th Anniversary of the Italian Cinema will be celebrated with an exhibition.
