Mostra d’Oltremare, Caldoro: “Today a Step Forward to Revamp Facility”

A four star hotel inside the area of Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples. The accommodation facility with 106 rooMs., pride of the wider project called “Grande Progetto Mostra d'Oltremare” has been opened in the important Neapolitan exhibition area.

A modern and functional restoration of the former Palazzo degli Uffici, designed in the 30’s by architect Marcello Canino.

President of Regione Campania Stefano Caldoro, Mayor of Naples Luigi De Magistris, Chairman of Mostra d’Oltremare Andrea Rea, Regional Minister for Production Activities Fulvio Martusciello, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples Maurizio Maddaloni attended the opening ceremony.

Mr. Caldoro stated: “A wonderful accommodation included in a broader project to revamp Mostra d’Oltremare. So many openings in such a short time that highlight our actions. And today we give our citizens back another bit of our city”.

“This area gets back to its main purpose, that is a place meant to be a trade and exchange hub where supply and demand meet. We work every day to fulfil this aim.”.

The Ristorante della Piscina has been opened with the hotel too. Built in 1938 by Architect Carlo Cocchia, it was severely damaged during the II WW. Permanently closed at the end of the 90’s, today it has been recovered and restored.
