Bad Weather Warning, Worsening Conditions Forecast

The Civil Protection Department of Regione Campania communicated that new bad weather conditions will hit the region from tonight with possible heavy rain and thunderstorms.

More in details, more rainfall is expected from tomorrow morning when a moderate hydrogeological critical situation is forecast all over Campania for the impact of this disturbance on the area.

The Regional Administration for Civil Protection issued a warning from tomorrow morning at 8.00. Bad weather is expected for the whole week, although on alternate phases.

The regional Operations Room will monitor the evolution of the situation, supervising through the technicians of the Civil Protection Department and Arcadis (Regional Agency for Soil Conservation), cooperating directly with the Directorate General of Civil Protection and with the relevant Regional Minister Edoardo Cosenza.

The weather report recommends the relevant authorities to monitor constantly the river network and to take on all required actions to prevent risks related to hydrogeological and hydraulic instability.
