Networks of Excellence: Open Competition for Embedded Systems in Critical Domains

Open the registrations for research activities to be carried out within the project Embedded Systems in Critical Domains, included in the ROP Campania ESF 2007-2013,"for the Development of Networks of Excellence". The public competition is issued by Fiat Information Technology, Excellence and Methods S.p.A. (ITEM).

The activity of the annual research scholarship deals with the following subject area:

•   Development of embedded software for automotive devices with human-machine interface and support tool for development activities.

Requisites: Italian or EU citizens, born or resident in Campania, unemployed, in possession of the following requisites:

•   degree in IT, Computer/Electronic Engineering; preferential qualifications are knowledge or brief experience in embedded environment.

A good knowledge of English and of object-oriented programming (Java, C, C++) is requested.

Duration and grant: the total duration of scholarship is 12 months. Research activities will be carried out at FIAT ITEM, premises of Pomigliano d'Arco (NA). The amount of the scholarship is € 1.360,00 for 12 months (€ 16.320) and the payment will be made in deferred monthly instalments by Fiat Item S.p.A. As for tax matters, scholarships will undergo current regulations, and, as for social security matters, those under article 2, paragraphs 26 and followings, of Law 8 August 1995, n. 335.

Application procedure: applications, written on unstamped paper using the specific form, must be submitted in person or sent by mail to Fiat Item S.p.A., c/o comprensorio CRF Pomigliano Center, via ex aeroporto s.n., cap. 80038 Pomigliano d’Arco (NA), by 2.30 pm of 10 December 2013. If handed in in person, applications can be handed in by the candidates themselves, by the above mentioned deadline, from 12.30 to 14.30. If sent by mail, the stamp of the Post Office will not attest the date. Applications must be accompanied by a detailed signed CV, and any other document considered suitable for competition purposes.
