On Monday, 3 March, from10.30 the IGB-CNR located in via Pietro Castellino 111, on the occasion of the 52th Anniversary of its Foundation, will host two events: “Graziella Persico Lecture and Travel Award” and the “Rotary Award for Young Biologists”.
Biologist Janet Rossant will chair the ceremony. The well-known pioneering scientist in developmental biology and stem cells, especially as for those mechanisms that can result in severe defects at birth, will deliver an open workshop and award young talents of the biomedical research.
Vice President of the Regional Executive Board of Campania Guido Trombetti responsible for Scientific Research, Director of the Biomedical Science DSB-CNR Tullio Pozzan, Coordinator of the European Club Rotary Group Laura Giordano and Director of IGB -CNR Antonio Simeone will attend the conference.
The fifth edition of the “Graziella Persico Lecture and Travel Award” is supported by Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine and Jim McGhee from the University of Calgary, Canada; anyone can join the event.
