Expropriations

The consolidated Text on laws and regulations concerning expropriations for public use (Presidential Decree no. 327/2001) sets forth that the authority responsible for the public or public use work implementation is also responsible for issuing acts concerning possible expropriations. Moreover, the above mentioned consolidated Text envisages that the Regions select and organize the Office for expropriations, possibly entrusting its powers to an already existing office.

Through the resolution no. 2329/2004, Regione Campania entrusted the powers of the Office for Expropriations to the Sector of the Regional Technical Committee of the Public Works AGC (General Coordination Area) as the structure in charge of handling requirements and issuing acts concerning expropriation procedures under regional jurisdiction.
