PhD Programmes within Businesses: Regional List of Businesses Published

Through Decree of 27.02.2014 to be published soon in the Official Journal too, concerning the ESF Operational Programme for the period 2007/2013 to implement the Resolution no. 182 of 29.04.2011, the outcomes of the thirteenth assessment of the Small and Medium Enterprises that have applied for registration in the Regional List, established with the Decree no. 6 of 18.01.2012, have been acknowledged. Campania Universities shall refer to these businesses, after their participation in the Call, to receive funds for “PhD Programmes within Businesses”. Regione Campania, with the resources of Campania ESF Regional Operational Programme, supports a 8 million and a half € investment to strengthen the cooperation between the University and the world of labour, and offer practical opportunities to young people and businesses. The “PhD Programmes within Businesses” project funds Phd programmes for the development of research projects that requires a part of the training programme to be carried out in regional innovative small and medium enterprises, accredited in the regional list, through an ad hoc further announcement, on the basis of the sectors selected along with the social partners. Fellowships will be supplied according to the projects presented by the Campania Universities concerning legal, scientific, and technical subjects to support, through the “human capital”, the development of economy and innovative services in the region. The Phd student, who has been awarded with the fellowship, will freely choose the business with whom he/she will develop the research and education project, followed by an evaluation Committee of the University he/she is registered. The tutor and a representative of the Campania industrial system are also members of the Committee.
