660 Thousand Euros for Associate Municipal Services, Sommese: “We Support Local Authorities”

Regional Minister for Autonomies Pasquale Sommese commented on the measure approved by the Regional Executive Board: ”By the resolution proposed in agreement with regional Minister Giancane, we included in the regional budget 680 thousand Euros to be divided among Unions of Municipalities and Upland Authorities to foster associations of entities”.  

Funds will be used for the associate holding of functions and municipal services – Mr. Sommese pointed out. 

We are well aware that the amounts are not enough for the best holding of functions and this is why we are committed in the future to give answers able to meet legitimate expectations of gathered authorities to ensure accurate and efficient services to citizens – Mr. Sommese concluded.

In the coming days, the general terms and conditions to submit applications will be drafted and by 31 December the division plan of grants will be approved.
