Decree 35, Sommese: New Direction for Municipalities and Businesses

“Due to an exceptional effort made by the Executive Board led by President Caldoro and the valuable work carried out by the regional staff, we share a billion and half resources for Campania local Authorities and businesses. A remarkable sum that will allow our areas to start growing again”. Regional Minister for Local Authorities Pasquale Sommese pointed out the meaning of the measure urged by President Caldoro and explained: “We give resources to Municipalities to settle their debts with businesses, for framework agreements, for rents funds, to pay textbooks and works for school buildings, for the stabilisation of socially useful workers, to draft town plans, for citizens’ income and aqueducts. We carry out a comprehensive action that will produce valuable results already in the upcoming months. This money in the market will also enhance remarkably services, starting from the sectors of healthcare and transport, but will also provide businesses with cash that will allow them to start investing again”.  

Mr Sommese concluded: “The agreement between Regione and Tesoro has been signed on Monday, 4th, and it released funds. Immediately after, payments will start. We meet our commitments. We made the Administration be fully operational within the deadline set, by establishing the executive operational units. Now, with the new organization of offices, we are able to work quickly. We will start from the most important area, which will allow to pay debts and look to development. It is a new direction for Campania local Authorities, businesses and citizens”.
