Regional Minister for Local Autonomies of Regione Campania Pasquale Sommese called the Standing Conference of Regione and Local Autonomies for tomorrow morning, Wednesday 8 August at 11.00 at the Sala Giunta at Palazzo Santa Lucia.
An analysis and impact assessment of the spending review law on the territory that has just been approved by Parliament, and the definition of actions to support during the debate with the Government are on the agenda.
Mr. Sommese said: “We are the first region in Italy to start a debate only after 24 hours from the law entry into force; we are willing to work with local autonomies on the proposals we want to present during the debate with the Government.”
In September, we will have five provincial conferences to extend even more the participation and to reach a possible institutional reorganization idea of provinces and metropolitan cities as shared as possible – Mr. Sommese concluded.
The five Presidents of Province are expected to attend the Conference tomorrow.
Moreover, the Mayors of the five provincial capitals, of Municipality of Capri, Ischia, Ercolano, Trevico, Sant’Egidio Montalbino, the presidents of the Upland Authority of Fortore, of the ANCI, UNCEM, UPI, of the Lega delle Autonomie, of ANPCI and AICCRE will participate in the Conference.
