Transfer of Financial Benefits, 70 Million Euros for Local Bodies

A meeting was held at the Regione premises to find eligibility criteria and operational procedures for the implementation of the transfer of financial benefits valid under the domestic Stability Pact 2013 for local Authorities of Campania.

Regional Minister for Budget Gaetano Giancane and for local Autonomies Pasquale Sommese and representatives from UPI and ANCI participated in the meeting. At the end of the proceedings, an investment expenditure up to 70 million Euros will be made.

The quota for applicant Municipalities is 50 million while Provinces could obtain up to 20 million.

In a joint note, both regional Ministers wrote: “We are very satisfied with this measure that will allow local authorities to network useful resources to make development and investments re-start”.

Within the peremptory time limit of 15 days from the publication of the Executive Board Resolution in the Official Journal, applications for this measure will have to be submitted – Regional Ministers concluded.
