Regional Regulation for Research Promotion

The Regional Law for the Promotion of Scientific Research in Campania is the L.R. n. 5 of 28 March 2002 (published in the Official Journal of Regione Campania (BURC) n. 19 of 8 April 2002).

It was modified by the L.R. n. 12 of 25 October 2010 (published in BURC n. 72 of 2 November 2010).

Aims:

  • Contributing to the promotion of Basic Research progress and circulation in scientific, technological, humanities, economical and legal fields;
  • Promoting the creation of financing opportunities for Research planned and directed by young people, in order to remove the risks of depletion of innovative human resources in the regional research system;
  • Promoting proper roles for the numerous competencies present in the regional territory, also for realising a real link between research and productive worlds in the general development process;
  • Supporting actions in the Research field in step with the national and EU planning lines, and coherently with interregional agreements and initiatives.

Considering the amendments introduced by the L.R. n. 12/2010, the programme of the interventions is no longer triennial, but is realised through specific annual implementation plan.
