The new administrator of 5 purification plants, now falling within the competence of Hydrogest, will be chosen by 30 June 2012.
The decision has been taken at the end of a meeting attended by the coordinator of the Environment Area of Regione Campania Michele Palmieri, the plants’ official receiver Paolo Massarotti, the representatives of Hydrogest and of state legal advisory service, and Manlio Martone of the Water Integrated System Sector.
The decision has been adopted after the Order of the Tribunal of Naples, which had allowed the administrator to leave the plants.
Until June 30, when the new administrator chosen by Regione Campania is going to take over, Hydrogest will continue to manage the plants.
The Environment Area of Regione Campania, in charge of the water integrated cycle, has already transmitted the administrative order of payment of three overdue lease instalments to the accounts department, in order to pay the employees’ wages and the expenses incurred in the management of the plants and, in particular, for mud removal.
